Blogging is for Idiots

I'm dumber. I wanted to avoid blogging and Facebooking, but I can't. Blogging and Facebooking is mostly about telling people you got a great deal at Costco or that you need to get your hair done but the stupid FedEx guy hasn't shown up yet. But when you want to write for a living and agents and editors tell you, "You have no platform", you find or make one. I'm gonna start with this blog.

You're not going to find out about what I cooked for lunch, or who I saw at the market today, and you're definitely not going to learn about how upset I am with Oprah. The fact is, you're not going to learn anything from reading my blog; but I might. I'm looking for feedback. Any feedback.

Here you'll find my blog titled "Paid to Poop". It's the working title of my book nobody wants to publish or even read for more than a minute. So I might slowly bleed the book here and look for feedback. Be brutal, be funny, be kind, or not. If you have something to say about something I've written, I'd love to read it. This is my blog. I'm dumber now, but it's time I got on the wagon with the rest of you.

Welcome to Paid to Poop. I hope you at least get one laugh out of each post. If you find some of the material offensive, then you're thinking too much or you're not thinking much at all. Laugh with me and at me, I'm good like that.

So come back each week or month and I will have posted another chapter or section or most likely some lame commentary on shit nobody cares about. In any case, comments are wanted and begged for.
